Searching Records Collective and Wishful Thinking A&R team up for a session of improvisational experimental music, including drone, dark ambient, post-rock, and chamber music. By getting four musicians in a room, including two pairs who never played together before, the result was something we couldn't have predicted or come up with otherwise. The various perspectives converge into something unique and beautiful.

Heavy fuzzed guitars, dreamy synthesizers, low drones, and angelic pianos and reverberating cellos come together for a sound that could only be determined by what occurred in the room.

Recorded over one day, there are no overdubs or additional takes. We instead chose to manipulate, sculpt, chop, and engineer electronically, creating an atmosphere that emphasizes what we played in the room while creatively cultivating the original ideas of improvisation.

We ask that you listen to this session at a high volume, and, if not on a good speaker system, with headphones.
